This day didn't start out how most weddings do. The bride woke up early to do her chores, feed the animals and make sure the farm was under control. Once breakfast was served and a shower was had, the day began. The groom then waited at the end of a lane way of trees in anticipation to see his bride. She shivered her way down the lane to then tap him on the back. We then knew in that moment.. it wouldn't be hard to capture the love between these two.
We stood back giving them time and authenticity to read their personal vows to one another. Then we were on our way to take the bride and grooms couple photos.
This is them. A dirtbiking boy fell in love with a farm girl. A Saskatchewan girl fell in love with a BC boy. The mix of them are explained in their photos as they commit their lives to one another.
The reception was handcrafted by the bride.. and her vision really came to life when the guests walked in. Every detail, from the chandelier to the plates had thought and a personal touch behind it. If it wasn't already from their homestead.. it was chosen from their local thrift store. Every piece contributing to the beautiful vintage feel of the day.
This day perfectly described this beautiful, carefree and humble couple. The emotion was RAW and evident in every moment between them and every guest, because of their love for others. We felt blessed to be apart of it.
